Open Studio am 11.+12.11. jeweils von 13-18 Uhr + Musikprogramm/Lesung am 11.11. ab 19 Uhr, 11.12. ab 18 Uhr

„We are happy to introduce you Nayeun Park, another one of our Open Studio Days artists that we recently visited in her studio!

In her artistic practice, Nayeun Park mainly deals with polarity, contradictoriness and identity. Through typical characteristics by which we recognize them, everyday objects carry a certain self-evidence. In her works Nayeun aims at turning the characteristics of the objects into the contrary, in order to bring them on an artistic level. Through alienation, the objects gain both new aesthetics and identities.

During the Open Studio Days Nayeun Park will be seeking a close exchange with visitors by presenting current artworks and previous publications. Visitors will also have the opportunity to gain an insight into the Soho Studios Ottakring building and learn about the history of the creation of this art and cultural center.   “ (VIENNA ART WEEK-Team)

Zusätzlich zum Open Studio gibt es eine Führung durch die SOHO STUDIOS mit Ula Schneider, der Initiatorin von SOHO in Ottakring, am 11.11. um 17 Uhr : Treffpunkt Liebknechtgasse 32

und ein Konzert-Programm mit Lesung im Studio von Nayeun Park + Kolleg:innen:
