Pallay Pampa
Die Ausstellung Pallay Pampa der IFA Galerie ist mit einer Performance und einem Künstler*innen Gespräch zu Gast in Wien.
Performance „Esta pared“ („Diese Wand“) von Kenyi Quispe (Peru), anschließend Gespräch mit Lizet Díaz und Emilio Santisteban (Peru) | Moderation: Hansel Sato und Marie-Christine Hartig
Lizet Díaz und der Künstler Emilio Santisteban sprechen mit dem Publikum über die von Lizet Díaz kuratierte Ausstellung „Pallay Pampa“, die am 15.9. in der ifa-Galerie Berlin eröffnete. Die Ausstellung geht der Frage nach, wie Wissen der peruanischen Anden mehr Wirkungsmacht in der heutigen Welt entfalten kann. Sie vereint Künstler*innen und Aktivist*innen aus Peru, die den diversen ökologischen und kolonialen globalen Krisen mit dem Begriff der Gemeinschaft begegnen. https://berlinartweek.de/event/pallay-pampa/
Kenyi Quispe Granados , *in Lima, Perú, ist Künstler.
His work has been shown in local spaces such as the art fair Art Lima; and in international spaces, such as the Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart. He has directed and/or collaborated in multidisciplinary experiences in collaboration with multiple institutions such as the Faculty of Architecture, Urbanism and Art of National University of Engineering; the National Superior Autonomous School of Fine Arts of Perú; and independent spaces such as Bisagra. He has also worked as an art educator in many artistic institutions such as the ENSABAP, the School of Art E. Sachs and the Centro de la Imagen. Some of his recognitions include the Wiese Foundation grant to the 56th Venice Biennale, his participation in the VI International Biennial Deformes of Performance of Chile and the emergent artist prize of the Euroidiomas Foundation. He has a BFA from the National Superior Autonomous School of Fine Arts of Perú in visual arts, where he graduated with the distinctions of Academic Merit and Art Research. Currently he is doing a MPhil degree specializing in Politics and Ethics in the Universidad Antonio Ruiz de Montoya.
Lizet Díaz Machuca, *in Lima, Perú, ist Kunsthistorikerin an der Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos und Master in Management des kulturellen Erbes an der Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Sie entwickelt Ausstellungen und öffentliche Programme in kulturellen Räumen, Forschung und Management in Projekten zur Aufwertung des kulturellen Erbes, kulturelle Aktivitäten der Gemeinschaft und soziale Projektion sowie künstlerische, pädagogische und interdisziplinäre Projekte.
Emilio Santisteban, *in Arequipa, Perú, ist ausgebildet in den Bereichen bildende Kunst und Bildungsmanagement und unterrichtet Performance, interdisziplinäre Kunst und kreative Teamprozesse an der Escuela de Artes Visuales Corriente Alterna in Lima, Peru. Er macht Performances, urbane Interventionen, kontextuelle Projekte und Ausstellungen und ist als Kurator tätig.
